Apart from a few disadvantages, the SingStand model looks like a lot of fun; its design is also sleek and sophisticated looking vs. the more "nerdy" designs I have seen, which seem cumbersome. The author outlines well the features this model has and even provides some info concerning where the model may need improvement. I personally would prefer something "lightweight" and easy to use; this model fits my idea of what I'd like to play with. I especially like that no karaoke cds are needed and that an additional microphone can be added for duet performances.
